Exciting news for fans of India's homegrown fighter jets! Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), the company that builds the awesome Tejas, is about to make history. The first Tejas Mk1A jets built at their brand-new factory in Nashik will be rolling out in March 2025.
Why is this so cool? - Until now, all Tejas jets have been made in Bengaluru. This new factory means India can build these advanced fighter planes even faster!
Building India's Air Power - The Indian Air Force needs a lot of Tejas Mk1A fighters, and this new factory is a big step towards making that happen. It's all about strengthening India's defense and making sure our skies are safe.
Just the Beginning - The head of HAL says this Nashik factory is just getting started. They can easily make 8 of these jets every year, and maybe even more with some extra upgrades!
